Michael Foreman is a NASA astronaut and former U.S. Navy captain who flew on two Space Shuttle missions during his career with NASA. Selected as an astronaut in 1998, Foreman served as a mission specialist on STS-123 and STS-129, during which he conducted multiple spacewalks and supported the construction and maintenance of the International Space Station. He was a graduate of the United States Naval Academy. His work in orbit contributed to expanding the station’s capabilities and advancing international cooperation in human spaceflight.
